The Return of Wolfgang (2002)

about

Long before I owned any recording equipment or my own super studio, I was writing music using a midi based program called Guitar Pro. Back then we were using old IBM Pentium 0.4 computers with almost 2k of ram and floppy disks the size of a book for saving data. With no such thing as a mouse or keyboard, I had to program everything by poking holes in paper and feeding it into the back of the monitor... Times were stuff!

While I was unable to record any real instruments for a number of years, Guitar Pro allowed me to write without any "technical playing ability limitations" which often led me to write ridiculous guitar solos that required 4 arms...

Production was limited to panning and volume so you had to be mildly creative to make things sound interesting...
Limitations during this period of time helped me develop my phenomenal writing skills which would later produce many hits.

You only have to listen to the drums to hear that I was listening to a lot of metal...

SUPER FACTS:
This track would later feature as the title track of Cot.FM album The Return Of Wolfgang which consisted purely of these midi style tracks, most of which were written by Wolfgang himself.
The song was originally called From The Deep.
